To My Patients and Families,<\/p>

It is with very mixed feelings that I share my decision to retire at the end of this summer. After 36 years of practicing medicine and running a business, I feel it is time for me to slow down and devote my time to my family. I am blessed to have three grandchildren already and am pleased to share that there is another one on the way! My role as their grandfather brings me great joy.<\/p>

Throughout my career, I have always valued my relationships with my patients, many of which are second generation patients. Being a partner in your health care has been the most rewarding aspect of pediatrics for me. This is what I will truly miss as I transition into retirement. I feel fortunate that I will be able to provide continuity of care for my patients through our partnership with Wheatfield Pediatrics. I am confident that your children will be well cared for by these capable doctors. They will be on staff at the Sheridan Pediatrics location Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 PM. Everybody is working to ensure your transition to your new doctor will be seamless.<\/p>

I recognize that every generation of physicians faces the challenges of staffing and keeping up with the times, particularly for smaller practices. The services we now offer bring us up to the modern standards of pediatric care required in medicine today. This will allow us to continue to provide quality care into the future. Many of you have already been able to utilize these services, such as mental health counseling, lactation support, and evening\/Saturday hours.<\/p>

I feel very privileged to now be associated with Wheatfield Pediatrics, especially as I begin the journey of retirement. I am placing you in the hands of wonderful pediatricians to continue our work at the Sheridan Pediatrics location. I thank them for providing excellent service to my treasured patients and wish you all good health and happiness.<\/p>
